Geography

Bình Dương is a province in the Southeast region of Vietnam, covering an area of approximately 2,695 square kilometers. It is bordered by Ho Chi Minh City to the south, Đồng Nai Province to the east, Bình Phước Province to the north, and Tây Ninh Province to the west. The province features a predominantly flat terrain with numerous rivers and canals, including the Đồng Nai River, which flows along its eastern boundary.

Bình Dương experiences a tropical monsoon climate with two distinct seasons:

  • Rainy Season: From May to November, with average annual rainfall ranging from 1,800 to 2,000 mm. 
  • Dry Season: From December to April, characterized by lower humidity and minimal rainfall.

The average annual temperature is between 26°C and 27°C, with the highest recorded temperature reaching 39.3°C and the lowest around 16°C to 17°C at night.
