At meeting time, our guide will warmly welcome you in the hotel lobby and begin your journey to the Mekong Delta.
- Discover the sacred Vinh Trang Pagoda - one of the most beautiful and largest pagodas in the Mekong Delta, it is famous for its giant Buddha statues and unique blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Khmer architecture. Continue the trip to My Tho, where you will:
- Board a boat and cruise along the Tien River, passing by fishing ports, stilt houses, and boat-building workshops.
Arrive in Ben Tre - the land of coconuts.
- Walk through lush orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, sip sweet honey tea, and taste freshly made coconut candies.
- Savor a countryside lunch with local specialties such as fried elephant ear fish and river shrimp.
- Enjoy a Southern Vietnamese folk music performance performed by the local islanders.
- Stroll through peaceful villages and fruit gardens to experience authentic rural life.
By evening, transfer to Can Tho to check in at your selected hotel and relax for the night.
Day 2: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out to the vibrant Cai Rang Floating Market - the largest and most famous floating market in the Mekong Delta.Here, you will:
- Cruise among hundreds of merchant boats trading fresh produce, tropical fruits, and daily essentials.
- Stop at a riverside village to see how locals make fresh rice noodles.
Test your balance crossing the traditional “monkey bridge” made of bamboo.
Next, visit the peaceful Con Son Islet – a hidden gem in the Hau River:
- Meet the friendly local families, wander through lush fruit gardens.
- Enjoy a home-style lunch featuring Mekong specialties prepared by the islanders.
Finally, relax on the drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, where the tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
